About Aquater 2050
[private] Concept Aquater 2050 is a concept for a new way of life based on the ocean. It includes a life-sustaining, energy producing watercraft (a SEMAN) that gathers energy from wind, waves, and sun by it’s special equipment and then stores the energy for sale to people on the land. It also has a unique design that keeps the craft from rolling in the waves, making travel more pleasant and energy harvesting on the sea possible. It has hydroponic components that can grow food on the sea, and reverse osmosis components to create potable water. Civilization Aquater 2050 is also an idea of a new civilization based on the sea, with communities made of groups of SEMAN so that there would be social interaction on the sea. This civilization is called the Aquater Alliance. The author has described this life and how it might develop in his book, AQUATERS. About the Inventor
[private] Who thought up all this and who is he? The idea for a civilization on the sea was one man’s lifetime dream of addressing the problems of energy shortage, overpopulation, over use of the world’s raw materials, and some of the political problems in the world. Leonard Wald read about these problems facing the 21st century world many years ago and over time, the germ of an idea formed as to how to address them. These ideas matured while he worked as an engineer in industry. His specialties were energy and sensors as related to satellites, ships and aircraft. These specialties gave him the exact background he needed to arrive at a possible solution to these problems. After retirement, he worked out the details of this solution. Leonard Wald Biography Leonard Wald has always been interested in experimental equipment. His father was the first man in the neighborhood to develop his own radio. Leonard himself was working on ship and aircraft models and energy generation before he got into the University of Utah. It is an imaginative but reasonable fictional account of how the author expects Aquater 2050 to expand from a few SEMAN to many SEMAN and become a significant factor in solving the worlds problems. The theme of this book is how to solve the world’s primary problems. Namely: We are running out of the types of energy we like most (oil and gas). We are running out of fresh water and land to grow food on. We lack a good method to settle disputes between nations. We are changing our climate by using fossil fuels and thus injecting carbon dioxide into the air. We are running out of jobs as computers and robots take over our work. This problem has a negative impact on our social and retirement systems as well. How to Get a SEMAN
[private] Banks will be reluctant to fund the purchase of SEMAN because of the difficulty of repossession in case of default. Funding should not come from the government because of the red tape and political difficulties involved. The rich can fund their own SEMAN purchase, but there is no one to fund SEMAN purchase for the poor and unemployed. SEMAN funding for the poor and unemployed has to come from Aquater2050 LLC because they will have the SEMAN necessary to accomplish defaulting SEMAN owner location and repossession. The only question is how can Aquater2050 find the money. The answer to this question came from the history of the Mormon pioneers as the settled the great basin in western US. and it is called the perpetual immigration fund. With this concept, a large fund is gathered to purchase SEMAN, and the new SEMAN owners make monthly payments back into this fund to provide for a new round of SEMAN purchases.
